Experience
While in high school, I was involved in FTAA (Future Teachers of America Association), where I had my first teaching experience. While in FTAA, I helped students with their homework, and with any questions they had. I continued my education at Bowling Green University, and graduated cum laude with my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I went on to obtain my teaching license in Ohio, and moved to Avondale to teach first grade for my first three years there. After that, I spent the next four years teaching technology to every K-8 student on campus. During this time, I attended Arizona State University, where I received my master's degree in Elementary Education. While in college, I tutored many different subjects including Math, Reading, English, History, Computer Science, and standardized test prep for the ISEE.When I tutor, I work very hard to determine the strengths and weaknesses of my students. This allows me to develop the best lesson plan for them. My goal is for my students to have a complete understanding so they can be successful in whatever classes they take, now and in the future.
