Hello, I'm Debra from Avondale, Arizona. I completed my undergraduate work at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst where I studied psychology with a concentration in neuroscience. I met my husband and spent some time traveling before settling in Arizona. Once our two children were old enough for school, I completed elementary education teaching credentials and began working in public schools. I went on to earn my Master of Secondary Education at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. I have experience teaching in the classroom at primary school through high school levels. When I am not in the classroom, I like to spend time outdoors and enjoy reading, exercise, and sports.I am committed to providing every student the opportunity to learn in the style that benefits them, and I am capable of providing them the tools they need to enjoy learning and become lifelong learners. I am available to tutor many subjects at various grade levels including algebra, elementary math, anatomy, microbiology, reading, writing, social sciences, and grammar and mechanics.
